 As a general definition, heaters with a transformer, spark plug, and a reset button are referred to as Solid State. Heaters that have a glowbar and a PC board are referred to as Hot Surface Ignition (HSI) heaters.

Always remember to match the model number of your heater with the model number of the individual breakdowns in this section. The breakdowns in this manual refer to the model specifically listed on each individual page. Use a breakdown only if you have the exact model match for your particular heater. You can use the Quick Reference Parts Guide located in the back of this section as an easy way to locate parts. If your model number does not appear in the breakdowns, please refer to the Quick Reference Parts Guide for common replacement parts.
